433 MHz ISM Band
Remote keyless entry · Garage door openers · Wireless sensors
| Frequency Range | 433.05–434.79 MHz |
| Wavelength | 69 cm |
| ITU / Standard | ISM Band (EU/Region 1) |
Applications
- →Remote keyless entry
- →Garage door openers
- →Wireless sensors
- →LoRa IoT (EU 433 MHz)
- →RC transmitters
- →Weather stations
Propagation Characteristics
Good building penetration. Range of 100–1000 m typical for low-power devices. Used extensively in EU where 915 MHz is not available.
Regulatory Notes
EU ETSI EN 300 220: max 10 mW ERP, duty cycle limits. US: secondary allocation only, not primary ISM. Not available in all regions.
